Vision 2017: Patience and Kindness

As a community, Bering Drive selects one or more virtues to cultivate together throughout the year. After several weeks of prayerful consideration, the virtues for 2017 are Patience and Kindness.

Dwelling in the Word for 2017

As a community, Bering Drive selects passages of Scripture to meditate on throughout our year together. Our “Dwelling in the Word” passage for 2017 is 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, as we continue to focus on practicing Patience and Kindness.

Love is patient.

Love is kind.

It does not envy.

It does not boast.

It is not proud.

It is not rude.

It is not self-seeking.

It is not easily angered.

It keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil

but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects

Always trusts.

Always hopes

Always perseveres.

Love never fails.
